Kerry Talmage
May 26th 1963 - June 17th 2004

One of Kerry Talmage's outstanding features is his ability to control a stage. With remarkable verbal agility, he can turn any situation into a comedic opportunity. As a result, improvisation often takes center stage with his original material waiting to be unholstered. Since every crowd is different, every Kerry Talmage performance seems tailored to that particular audience.

Kerry has toured with the likes of Prince, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Nash The Slash, The Tragically Hip, Doug and The Slugs and has appeared in the feature films MOB STORY and ARENA. He has also been featured on The Movie Network's Comedy Special MONDO TABOO, CBC-TV's HOUR MAGAZINE, CHCH-TV's COMEDY AT CLUB 54, MUCH MUSIC and at Comedy Festivals in Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle and Montreal.

Currently, headliner Kerry Talmage is performing at comedy clubs across Canada and the United States, receiving standing ovations at every stop. As well, a tour of the U.K. is planned for the not-too-distant future.

"Scrappy, mad-as-hell standup survivor Kerry Talmage has been close enough to the abyss to peer right over the edge. But a serious string of life-threatening health problems has proven no match for his zeal for performing. After ten years of creating his angry, sarcastic and oft offensive persona, he's had a change of outlook, and of heart. What remains, however, is a hard existential edge with a wealth of strong comedy material. He's a classic case of someone who can find humor even in the gravest of circumstances." - Daryl Jung, NOW Magazine

"It was my pleasure to attend Thunder Bay's 45th Annual Sports Celebrity Dinner. It was a resounding success! This was largely due to the headliner of the night, comedian Kerry Talmage. Mr. Talmage came highly recommended and lived up to all expectations. Right from his farcical opening skit to his closing line, he had the 600 people in the room constantly in stitches. His material and approach was tasteful, well- timed, and appropriate, reading the audience extremely well. Kerry also showed strict professionalism on and off the stage. I would recommend Kerry for any dinner or speaking engagement, for any size of audience and for most walks of life." - Ken Boshcoff, Mayor, City of Thunder Bay
